BACK TO WORSHIP IN CHURCH
THE SERVICE
During our worship
- We've been able to read bible passages and have had a meaningful message.
- We've joined in quietly saying responses and the Lord’s Prayer.
- A small group have sung hymns while the rest of the congregation are encouraged to follow the words on the screen and sing 'in their heads’!
- We've used multimedia to tell the story.
The service has lasted about thirty-five minutes.
We cannot linger to chat at the end but most people seem to be ready to go outside and take off their masks. Perhaps masks are, for some, the most negative aspect but obviously essential to keeping us all safe. Many have enjoyed catching up with friends outside on the pavement, whilst abiding by Government guidelines.
We have had more people wanting to attend worship than we have seats available. We are therefore trialling two services on a Sunday morning from the 27th September. Services will be led by the same preacher at 10.00am and 11.15am. The areas used will be Covid-cleaned between each service. You will appreciate that as our numbers have to be limited, there will need to be a booking system for each service.
Bookings should be made weekly either by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or telephone: 01477 537679
For those not ready or not able to attend worship yet, we do hope you are continuing to find what’s offered on-line and on the television, radio and telephone helpful.
