Church Accessibility |
There is limited car parking space at the back of Trinity Church (approximately 20 places). Priority is given to people with mobility problems. However, there is also ample parking space nearby in the public Car Park between West Street and Crescent Road. It is best to enter from the Lion St / Crescent Rd side and to park as near as possible to that entrance. On Sundays and during the evenings there is no charge. Notice that the part of West Street east of Antrobus Street is one-way: for west-bound traffic only. |
There is always some kind-hearted member of the congregation who would be happy to give you a lift in their car if you find you need transport. Just ask people or contact the church minister. Alternatively, services are recorded and can be made available to anyone unable to get to church. |
Ramps are provided to give access to the worship area and other public areas in and around Trinity Church, helping people with reduced mobility, including people who use a wheelchair or other mobility support. There are also accessible toilet facilities. Services are recorded and can be made available to anyone unable to get to church. |
Sunday morning services are generally recorded and can be copied onto USB sticks in MP3 format so that people who are unable to attend the service can listen, later, at home. The sound system used in church is the one referred to under 'Hearing support'. |
There is an induction loop system to assist people with hearing difficulties. The loop system is an integral part of the sound system which is used for everyone during services. |

There are a number of areas on the Trinity Church site that can be booked, ranging in size from small rooms to the church hall and the main worship area of the church itself (whose seating is movable). There are three main buildings on the site, all containing a number of bookable areas. See the schematic of site layout. If you know what room you want and simply want to try to book it, or if you want to discuss what is available and could be suitable, please contact the room booking service via Jill on |
