Within Dane and Trent Circuit Julia Tomes is co-ordinating worship and other resources to support children and young people at home, whilst they are unable to join in traditional style church activities and worship.

Julia produces material for a short children's service on YouTube each Sunday (Kids' Corner) and material to be sent to children, supporting activities to do at home instead of attending Sunday school etc.

If you know someone who cannot access the Circuit's recorded Sunday services on Zoom, perhaps they would be willing to access a sound-only version of the same services, provided by faith.online.  The telephone number is 01782 939017.  If you phone from a land line, the cost may be as low as a local call.  From mobile phones or non-local land lines, please check with your service provider.

There are two options people can select from.  Option 1 will tell you which hymns and readings are used in this week's on-line service.  Option 2 allows you to listen to the service itself.

People who have used it have said they have found it helpful and it has given some a sense of peace.

If more than one person at the same place wishes to hear at the same time, it may be possible to put the phone on a loudspeaker setting to share the service.

For Northwest and Mann Methodist Region

Each week there is a reflection and prayer, and then we go into small groups to chat. We either chat about the things the reflection made us think about or we chat about anything we want to chat about.

Could this be for you or someone in your church?
